Okay, we're here to sail. We had a good breeze build up yesterday. We hung in the middle most of the day but were most pleased about being able to crawl back to the middle after being over early (yes, again). Jeff tells me I really need a J-21.75. Two more races to go today - looks like it might be the lightest day so far.

Nice job! Bad start, climbed and held position.

What gives? Just seem to lose it on the final beat to the finish.

Whoo-hooo! They were up there but gave it up at the end. Still moved up a notch to 25th overall.
The positive thing is that we were able to hang in there somewhat going upwind as the breeze lightened up a little bit. We were passing boats in the second race but sailed for the wrong weather mark because we missed the notice at the leeward gate (busy "communicating" with another boat) - that goof put us way back. We were over early in the last race.
Like Prog said - today is moving day!
Went to NASA last night in the Space Center attraction area. Betty, Erin and Mary Anne went on the reverse bungee trapeeze with harness - perfect for foredeck training. We learned that Mary Anne couldn't do a flip. Sorry AnJohn. Erin solidified her lead for the Squirrel Rum Poster Girl. Some of us sat through a briefing of current NASA activity. However, in the ending Q&A session, we were too chicken to ask "how long can an astrounat drive with a diaper on."
Injury Report - Agnes was a little sore from yesterday, but iced down here shoulder and upper arm and fine this morning. Mary Anne caught the boom with her head on the way in after finishing. No permanent damage that we can detect.
Cliffy and I will be on the water all day today. Hopefully we can provide some better reports to Bitter Gnat for timely updates.
Hey I weigh 65 pounds..can I come along?
